Crysis 2: Get the most out of your LCD TV


developer Crytek has ambitious goals with his latest game Crysis 2: It is the best first-person shooter aller Zeiten werden und neue Grafikstandards setzen. Crytek kann es sich leisten. Wichtig für Crytek war, die CryENGINE®3, auf der das Spiel läuft, auch für Konsolen nutzbar zu machen. So erreicht man eine breitere Masse. Ebenfalls verbessern will man die Geschichte, die in Crysis 2 erzählt wird. Hierfür hat man Sci-Fi-Autor Richard Morgan gewinnen können. Und als besonderes Schmankerl wird man das Spiel in stereoskopischem 3D spielen können. Auch der Multiplayermodus soll umfangreich und motivierend sein.

Bislang klingt die Story äußerst durchschnittlich: Aliens überfallen New York und richten reichlich Unheil an. Alles schonmal gesehen. Natürlich sind Polizei und Militär machtlos. Nur ein Mann kann dem Alien-Wahn ein Ende setzen. Der Mann, der den High-Tech-Kampfanzug "Nanosuit 2" trägt. Wir sind gespannt, welche Höhepunkte Richard Morgan noch in die Story einbaut.
