KU64 dentists continue the initiative of South Africa and treated in the first week of February For the second time children in South Africa

(KU64/15.02.2011) Four teams of the Berlin dentist dental practice were KU64 in the first week of February 2011 the second time in the 160 kilometers north-west of Cape town of Paternoster in South Africa and will have 100 pupils of a primary school and 60 adults whose treatment. The operational group of dentists and KU64-owner Dr. Stephan Ziegler was here out of 4 dentists, three dental assistants and a prevention specialist and an assistant and photographer.

After her first use exactly two years before this is the next step towards sustainability of this important project. This year's record: 7 days, 100 children, 60 adults, 200 fillings, 120 extractions, sealants, and countless. The third use is planned for January 2012.

Unterstützt wird KU64 bei diesem Projekt von der gemeinnützigen Laureate Stiftung im Rahmen des Hilfsprojekts WESTCOAST KIDS (www.westcoastkids.co.za). Auch zahlreiche Partner von KU64 aus dem zahnmedizinischen Bereich fördern das Projekt mit großzügigen Sachspenden, u.a. Henry Schein Dentaldepot, MIP GmbH, Smile Design Dentallabor, Voco GmbH, 3M Espe, Curaprox, Onedroponly, Camlog, MIP, multi-com.biz, Resorba und Ivoclar Vivadent GmbH. Aber auch nichtmedizinische Unternehmen unterstützen die Aktion, beispielsweise die Handelsplan AG.

Über ihr Engagement in Südafrika hinaus setzen sich die Zahnspezialisten von KU64 auch für Kinderhilfsprojekte auf lokaler Ebene ein, z.B. für die Arche, die Initiative Laughing Hearts sowie die Kinder- und Jugendabteilungen der Sportvereine Reinickendorfer Füchse und Berlin Rebels.
