7 days, 100 children, 50 adults, 200 fillings, 120 extractions ...
.. and many radiant smiling faces later, we rely on team-KU64 Paternoster, the 150 miles southwest village of Cape Town, where we have discussed in the last 7 days, school children. What remains are an incredible number of memories, sweet and grateful children, volunteers of all colors and different age groups and a lot of new friends - we'd like to meet again next year.
This morning at 9 clock was first a photo shoot scheduled with the school principal, children of different classes, volunteers and the entire team of KU64. A few wet eyes could be seen here too, but all were brave!
then stated: final sprint! The 50 children of the first and 2 Class were turn. In the recent not so large defects were noted, mainly sealants. In addition, some children were treated who had to the recall. Just before the final session,
Karen Paulsen, assistant to the local dentist who has mitbegleitet the action, a touching speech. They thanked the entire team with little gifts from Paternoster. The freuchten eyes were back! We thanked for the hospitality and helpfulness to overcome together small and big problems, and gave a rendezvous on january 2012!
